In December, 2007 we created FreeShipping.org as the first and only website dedicated to helping shoppers find free shipping deals at online retailers. The website promoted free shipping deals at over 1,000 online retailers. It was an immediate success, and had nearly 35 million visitors.

One year later we created Free Shipping Day, the first online shopping holiday for procrastinators. We promised free shipping with delivery by Christmas Eve for orders placed that day (usually around December 17). In 2010, Free Shipping Day would surpass Black Friday in online sales.

Today, there isn’t much need for a dedicated free shipping website. Most retailers are very good about promoting their own free shipping offers. We thank everybody that used FreeShipping.org for their patronage and wish you all continued savings.
